  • CULTURAL PROPOSALS
Please be advised that to submit a project or event proposal to the Institute, you can email a brief description along with a technical and financial summary to iicwashington@esteri.it. Please note that our servers automatically reject attachments larger than 10MB. If you need to send large files, we recommend using a file-sharing service such as Google Drive. All submissions will be reviewed thoughtfully; however, due to the high volume of requests, only proposals shortlisted for potential inclusion in the Institute’s programs will receive a response.

WORKING AT THE ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE OF WASHINGTON
The Italian Cultural Institutes hire personnel solely through a selection or public competition authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You will find public recruitment notices in the News section.

INTERNING AT THE ITALIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE OF WASHINGTON
The Italian Cultural Institute of Washington participates in the three-month curricular internship program for foreign offices, as outlined in the agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the MIUR, and the CRUI Foundation. The Institute does not organize internships independently, nor does it participate in other programs or accept unsolicited applications.
The CRUI Foundation select the interns in agreement with the universities and regularly publishes the quarterly tenders (www.fondazionecrui.it).
Internships at the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington are extended to students attending all university programs. Knowledge of English language at the B2/C1 level is one of the required requirements.
