Titian’s “Danaë” during World War II

Brigitte Daprà, director of exhibitions and loans, Superintendency of Cultural Heritage for the City and the Museums of Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta, talks about the historical events during World War II that forced the relocation of over 6,000 artworks, including Titian’s Danaë, from Naples to several secure locations, to ensure their preservation.
