This exhibition will feature works from world-renowned archaeological museums in Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Georgia, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Spain, and the United States. Power and Pathos, the first comprehensive monograph on large-scale Hellenistic bronze sculpture that counts 18 loans from outstanding Italian Museums, explores this unique role of bronze as a medium of prestige and artistic innovation. The exhibition, with different loans, was on display first at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence and then at Getty Center in Los Angeles.
