On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2016, the Embassy of Italy with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and the Centro Primo Levi New York, will present “The Complete Works of Primo Levi”, the Italian-born chemist who wrote, among other books, “If This Is a Man”, his haunting account of Auschwitz.
The event will see the participation of Alain Elkann, Italian novelist, intellectual and journalist, Joan Acocella, The New Yorker Magazine, and Stefania Lucamante, Catholic University of America, followed by the screening of a BBC documentary provided by Centro Primo Levi NY.
