The Italian Cultural Institute of Washington, in collaboration with Addison/Ripley Fine Art, presents Eau de Eau, a project by Max Papeschi and Arianna Bonucci that envisions a future hauntingly close to our own, where water — the very essence of life — has become scarce and exclusive.
In this imagined tomorrow, what was once abundant is transformed into a luxury, rebranded as a coveted fragrance and bottled like fine perfume: expensive, rare, and emblematic of privilege.
Through irony and poetic reflection, Eau de Eau invites you to confront our shared illusions and reconsider the value we place on the most essential resource of all.
