2012 College of Charleston Italian Film Festival
In its sixth edition the Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival at the College of Charleston offers a wide range of recent Italian movies. This year four directors will attend the Festival: Edoardo De Angelis, Paola Randi, Tonino Zangardi and Nino Cirasola will engage in conversations and debates with other cinema experts and the public. Since the establishment over thirty years ago of the Spoleto Festival USA in town, Charleston has seen a constant growth of its role as a cultural bridge between Italy and the United States, and the recurring success of this Festival is a valid proof of the vitality that this transatlantic bond enjoys.
