Bruno is a thirty-year-old man from Rome, with a wife and a son, who still hasn’t found his path in life. After his latest failure, which costs him most of his savings, he comes up with a bizarre and bold intuition: he discovers the little-known winter sport of curling and decides to start a team to participate to the selections for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. This amateur team will have to fight its way through a plethora of obstacles and improbable situations all the way to the podium. Will they be able to succeed?

Claudio Amendola (born Rome in 1963) is an Italian actor, television actor, host and director. He is the son of actor and voice dubber Ferruccio Amendola. Claudio started his movie career in the 1980s, playing comic roles in Italian comedies directed by Carlo Vanzina. In 1987 he played his first dramatic role in Soldati – 365 all’alba, directed by Marco Risi and then in Ultrà (1990) and The Escort (1993), both directed by Ricky Tognazzi. Amendola became a very popular television actor in his role in the fiction I Cesaroni, the Italian version of Los Serrano.
