The screening of the film Bocche Inutili (Useless Mouths), by Claudio Uberti, is presented on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023.
Ester is a 40-year-old Italian Jewish woman who is left alone after her family is rounded up and taken away. She is sent to the Fossoli transit camp and forms a close friendship with Ada. She does not lose heart, not even when she is sent to Ravensbrück camp, avoiding the convoy that would have taken her to her death: Auschwitz.

Claudio Uberti was born in Chiari in the province of Brescia, Italy on August 9, 1975. He has been working as a professional director since 1999 when he completed his artistic studies, acquiring extensive experience in cinema and television, especially after an illuminating enlightenment and extraordinary encounter with director Lina Wertmuller, with whom he shared many experiences in cinema, television and theatre. In the documentary genre he has directed numerous historical and cultural documentaries in many European countries and beyond, as well as a series of dramas for national and international television. He made his directorial debut in 2015 with the film Rosso Mille Miglia, with Martina Stella.
