The Italian Cultural Institute of Washington invites you to further explore our newest library section dedicated to young readers. Discover the books selected in collaboration with In Italiano and enjoy this encounter of “In biblioteca in italiano”.
Readers between 4 and 10 years old are welcome as for our new meeting of “In biblioteca in italiano”, in which Fiorenza Castelli guides kids of all languages in the exploration of our favorite Italian books, with story telling and creative hands-on activities.
During each encounter, we engage with excerpts from books with a specific theme. To enhance our storytelling experience, we incorporate hands-on activities.
For May’s encounter, our last for this series, we will read “Rapimento in biblioteca” by Margaret Mahy with illustrations by Quentin Blake (le rane interlinea, 2021).
To join us, registration is required. Start time is 4:30 pm.
