The Embassy of Italy, the Fondazione Arena di Verona, and the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the Arena di Verona’s 2024 Festival.
The evening will be an opportunity to hear directly from the General Manager of the Arena di Verona, Cecilia Gasdia, and from Deputy Artistic Director of the Arena di Verona, Stefano Trespidi, about the extraordinary line-up the festival has in store this year from June 7 to September 7.
A musical performance by Sopranos Yeajin Jeon and Gilda Fiuma, Tenor Ivan Magri’, accompanied by Cecilia Gasdia at the piano, will follow with arias from “Aida” by Giuseppe Verdi and from “Gianni Schicchi”, “Madame Butterfly”, “Tosca”, and “Turandot” by Giacomo Puccini, to mark the celebrations of the 100th anniversary since his death.
The evening will be introduced by H.E. Ambassador Mariangela Zappia, Ambassador of Italy to the United States.
Join us on May 15 at 6 pm in the auditorium of the Embassy of Italy.

Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
