The Italian Cultural Institute of Washington invites you to come discover various books we have selected for our young readers and to come enjoy this new series of encounters of “In biblioteca in italiano”.
Readers between 4 and 10 years old are welcome to our new 2025-2026 series of encounters for “In biblioteca in italiano”, in which Fiorenza Castelli will guide kids of all languages in the exploration of a selection of books in Italian and about Italian culture.
During each encounter, we engage with excerpts from books on a specific theme. To enhance our storytelling experience, we incorporate hands-on activities.
For our first meeting of the 2025-2026 series, in October, we will read “Pimpa viaggia in Italia” by Francesco Tullio-Altan (Franco Cosimo Panini editore, 2023).
To join us, registration is required. Start time is 4:30 pm.
