September 29 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Italian master filmmaker Michelangelo Antonioni (1912–2007), arguably the most influential director of the postwar era. To mark this anniversary the American Film Institute, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the National Gallery of Art, presents Antonioni’s three English language movies: Zabriskie Point, Blow Up, The Passenger.
