It’s
1944. A man and a woman meet in a train station during the Nazi occupation of Veneto. It’s the start of a touching story, an impossible love between a young teacher involved in the Resistance and the brilliant officer of a Fascist ministry during the partisan struggle taking place on the “terre rosse” in the region of the Alto Vicentino . The war will destroy their certainties and deeply mark their fate.

DENNIS DELLAI
Dellai was born in Vicenza. His first feature film, “Così eravamo” is a docudrama commissioned by the Municipality of Thiene and centered on the figure of the partisan from Thiene Giacaomo Chilesotti. In 2006 this docudrama competed for the David di Donatello. The second feature “Terre Rosse” (2008) is a love story set in Vicenza during the Second World War based on the non-fiction book by Flavio Pizzato. In 2010, he started shooting his third film, “Oscar”, the story of a Jewish musician saved by partisans in the last war. Dellai works as an editor at the Giornale di Vicenza, and he also directed some commercials against bullying and driving under the influence for the Local Police of the Northeast Province of Vicenza.
