PROGRAM

Buffet

Filmmaker/Director: Alessandro D’Ambrosi and Santa De Sanctis

Italy, 2016, 16 min.

A parodic representation of a high-society vernissage that turns into a grotesque and hilarious assault on a buffet. It serves as an ironic and surreal metaphor for human hypocrisy and greed, which has devoured our beautiful country.

Diritto di voto (Right to vote)

Filmmaker/Director: Gianluca Zonta

Italy, 2021, 15 min.

In a near future in which androids are integrated into our society, the main argument in political debate is whether they should be granted voting rights or not. The leaders of the two main parties are called to express their official stance on the issue.

Scary Self-driving (자율주행이 너무해)

Filmmaker/Director: Jeong Ki-yeon

Korea, 2024, 26 min.

Self-driving cars are one of the latest technologies disrupting our world. But they won’t be the last. One concerned mother takes matters into her own hands.

Chisel and Hammer (정과 망치)

Filmmaker/Director: Moon Jae-woong

Korea, 2025, 14 min.

Undeterred at age 90, master stone craftsman Song Jong-won carries on a storied folk tradition making Jeju island’s iconic stone grandfather statues. Unlike our individual lives, some handed-down traditions remain timeless.
