available online > Italiche: Women’s Perspective on Urban Regeneration (Italian Design Day)

Streamed live on March 23, 2022

On the occasion of the 6th edition of Italian Design Day in the United States, the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Washington DC, in cooperation with the Italy Center of Jefferson University, presented a webinar dedicated to Women’s Perspective on Urban Regeneration. In architecture, like in many other professions, women are key to the economic advancement of communities. The post-pandemic world has shown that their contribution is not just fair by principle, but it is also – and most importantly – necessary.

Changing societies and economies require more women able to imagine an environment that reflects the values and the aspirations of today’s society: for environmental stewardship, for equality and inclusiveness, having in mind the needs of the feminine part of the population.
