Dasy and Viola are Siamese twin sisters on the verge of turning 18, living in the suburbs of Naples. They are blessed with beautiful voices and thanks to their performances at weddings, communions and baptisms, they get the livelihood for the whole family.
Kept isolated from the rest of the world by their own father, who just exploits them in order to make money, their life turns upside-down when one of them falls in love for the first time and they discover that they can be separated.

After launching from the Venice Film FestivalIndivisibili made an international splash and was a standout at the 2017 David di Donatello, where it won five awards.

EDOARDO DE ANGELIS

Edoardo De Angelis (Naples, 1978), screenwriter and film director, graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. As a student he made several short films and documentaries that screened at numerous festivals. His thesis film, Mistero e Passione by Gino Pacino, attracted the attention of Emir Kusturica, who became executive producer on De Angelis’ debut feature, Mozzarella Stories, starring Aida Turturro, Luisa Ranieri and Luca Zingaretti. In 2014, Zingaretti starred in De Angelis’ film PEREZ, which premiered out of competition at Venice. The film earned Zingaretti a Globo d’Oro award for Best Actor, and Simona Tabasco the Biraghi Prize at the Silver Ribbon Awards. He is known for Indivisibili (2016), Perez (2014) and L'ora legale (2017).
