streaming > Double Feature Presentation “To My Pink Lady” & “Tomato Soup in Skid Row” by Alexo Wandael

We are excited about our double feature presentation from director Alexo Wandael, which includes To my Pink Lady and Tomato Soup in Skid Row. The films will be followed by a recorded Q&A with Fabio Finotti, previous director of the Italian Cultural Institute, along with writer and actress Cristina Rambaldi, editor Daniela Ovi, producer Pete White and director Alexo Wandael.

To My Pink Lady

runtime: 13 minutes
Life does not always go as we may have planned or dreamed. But sometimes, the human spirit will push back and challenge life’s limitations. With a photograph created for her best friend Dakota, Cristina finds a way for their bond to transcend time and to be able to “grow old” together.

Tomato Soup in Skid Row

runtime: 48 minutes
Homelessness showcases itself in all its harshness and stridence on so many city’s streets, screaming for some acknowledgement and understanding. And yet, for most of us, those souls remain mute, distant, like a collection of lost shadows filling the spaces we simply drive by in the safety of our cars…

Both Titles Directed by Alexo Wandael
