Giulia’s world is an ancient one, suspended in time and built on rigor and sacred texts, which fiercely excludes anyone who doesn’t belong. Everyone else inhabits Libero’s world, including those who make mistakes, those who make do as they seek other prospects, and those who love unconditionally.
When Giulia meets Libero, she discovers there may be another destiny awaiting her, one she can choose for herself. Theirs is a pure and inevitable love story, as the two young people embark on an intense chapter of their lives together, a choice that leads to Giulia being completely cut off from the Jehovah’s Witness world she once belonged to.

Marco Danieli was born in 1976. He presently lives in Rome. He has been the director, author and editor of numerous documentary and television productions while working as an independent filmmaker at the same time. In 2007, he got a degree in Film Direction from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (Italian National Film School). His short films have been selected in some of the most important international film festivals, such as the Venice film festival and the Tau Film Festival in Tel Aviv. Since 2011, he has also been working as a tutor at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in the course of Direction chaired by Daniele Luchetti.
