Set in the small town of Altamura (Puglia), Focaccia Blues tells the true story of a traditional bakery that puts a recently opened McDonald’s out of business. The mockumentary explores the challenges of preserving local culture and traditions, amidst the crushing tide of globalization.

Nico Cirasola was born on May 29, 1951 in Gravina di Puglia, Italy. He is an actor and writer, known for Focaccia Blues (2009), Da Do Da (1994) and Odore di pioggia (1989).
